***Serena*** It has gotten dark inside the barn, now it is evening. I am grateful for the quilt that Valmir has brought me, as I did not have one the previous nights I have slept in here. Tonight, though, it does feel colder as I wrap the quilt tighter around myself. I am shivering, something Lycans just didn't do. I stare up into the dark rafter above and contemplate things. My neck has been aching all day and has bled on and off. I lightly feel around the area with my fingers. It feels warm, swollen and bumpy and I can feel it throbbing. I shiver again, realising that whatever has happened to my mark, it appears to be infected. It was sad to think that, at a point, I and those around me had thought that me getting weaker was all part of the Goddess' plan, that it was 'equilibration'.
