Chapter Eleven

When they got back at the company, they were welcomed by a woman sitting gracefully in Jonathan's office. She was so comfortable someone might think that it was her own home.

Cindy was surprised, for the first time since she had joined black Enterprises, there was a woman in his office apart from her and his mom. But now, things seemed to have changed. Maybe an ex girlfriend.

She also felt hurt deep inside. She didn't know why but she didn't like seeing any woman around Jonathan. Maybe she was jealous? No, why should she be jealous when they are not even dating. Maybe she liked him? Yes she did. She decided to suppress her feelings and go to her own office and let Jonathan deal with his guest.

When Jonathan who had been observing Cindy's reaction saw her change in emotions, he knew he would be misunderstood by this little woman and decide to speak up before things got out of hand.

"Who are you?" He asked in a cold voice that the other two women in the room could feel the drop in the room. Cindy who was almo6making a step felt herself frozen where she stood. She found herself heave a sigh of relief when Jonathan couldn't recognize the woman, 'seemed like one of the failed blind dates,' she thought.

"Come on Jonathan, we just had our date last week but it seems like you've forgotten who I am. You really hurt me," the woman stood up and replied as she faked gasped as she held her chest.

"Miss John, get out of my office." His voice was as cold as a frozen lake. Crystal couldn't help but shiver. She had decided to make a trip to Jonathan's office to give him a surprise who knew that she wouldn't find him at his office and since people were out for lunch she invited herself inside his office. Even Jonathan's secretary didn't know that she was inside. And what hurt the most was that Jonathan didn't even remember her name.

"It's Crystal James, Jonathan," she tried to remind him her name but who knew he wouldn't listen but rather call his secretary.

When Jack, Jonathan's secretary got inside his boss's office and saw a strange woman standing inside the office, he kind of understood the situation. He and seen his boss hold his assistant's hand as they left and understood that they had a complex relationship.

"Who allowed this woman in?" Jonathan asked Jack even before he could speak. "Boss, I was out for lunch I don't know when she got in," Jack replied as he could beads of sweat form on his head.

"So you invited yourself into my office, as who? You really have some guts." Jonathan said as he turned to look at Crystal. He had gone to dates with women organized by his mom and had never came across such a person.

"Jonat...." Before she could say anything, she was interrupted by Jonathan.

" Jack I want that couch removed and burnt and anything she touched in my office burnt as well. And the room should be sanitized thoroughly and new sets brought in. You have 30 minutes. And that woman, throw her out and fire the person who allowed her in." He ordered and took Cindy's hands as he led her towards her office leaving Jack who was calling security and an ashamed Crystal James.

Crystal was shocked at how Jonathan treated her. She could feel tears brimming in her eyes but she didn't let them fall. She clenched her fists as she looked at the backs of Jonathan and Cindy. She couldn't understand, what was so great about that woman.

She had been thinking what kind of woman Cindy was after seeing Jonathan carry her from the club and didn't expect to find her working as Jonathan's assistant. So he could even touch her assistant's hands but would burn the things she touched and even sanitize the office. He was so ruthless.

When the security arrived and wanted to throw her out, she ran out of the office in embarrassment and her tears couldn't help but fall down. She had never been treated that way by anyone. She was mad with envy at Cindy.

When Jonathan got inside Cindy's room, he embraced her as he said, "Princess, please don't misunderstand, she was one of the women who my mom had set up on blind date for me." She couldn't take any chances with anyone trying to make wedge between them.

"Why are you explaining yourself, it's not like we're dating or something. I know I like you but I can't do anything about it....," Before she could finish her sentence, her lips were sealed by his. She widened her eyes, that was her first kiss, okay? (Well, you're the only person who doesn't know that your first kiss is gone)

Jonathan didn't know what happened but when he had the little woman in his hands say that she likes him, he lost it. That was what he has been waiting for since he met her. He found himself already shutting the blubbering woman with a kiss.

Cindy who had no experience in kissing could only try to follow his actions and with time, she was kissing him back even without realizing it. Jonathan draped his hand over her waist as the other held the back of her head. He pried open the woman's mouth as he kissed her deep inside as they tongues danced around each other. He didn't know kissing could be this sweet.

He only let the little woman go as he felt her go out of breath. He leaned his head against hers as they caught on their breathe. He then embraced her again, he was so happy. Now he can take her on a date knowing that she likes him. "Let's go on a date tomorrow after work," he said to her. Cindy only raised her head to look at him and nodded her head.

After hugging each other for a while, Jonathan left to go back to his office which now had different couch and some other new things and continued with work to complete the day.

Cindy on the other hand, took out her phone to check and found numerous messages from Violet and Tyson mainly asking her if she was okay. They had heard of Mrs Black visiting and knowing her temper, they thought she would make things difficult for Cindy. And then the issue of Crystal which now had circulated in the company.

Cindy texted them back ensuring them that she was okay. She was glad that she had this two people as her friends. After that she also got herself busy with work.

When evening came, they both left together and Jonathan prepared dinner again before leaving after they had ate to go back to his place.
