Alpha Aedion's POV
I walked after the manager gave me the dessert which Athena enjoyed the delicious taste. I had asked him to pack some so that I can watch her having the dessert with that beautiful smile on her face.
I found Athena standing with her back facing me. Placing a hand on her shoulder, I did not expect that kind of reaction.
She whipped around startled and gave me a scared look. Something is not right. Her eyes gave it away.
"Are you alright?" I inquire with concerned gaze.
She does not reply for first few seconds. I assumed she was trying to maintain her composure by not giving away anything, but I knew better.
"What is it?"
"You seemed a bit stressed at the of the dinner as well" I pointed out.
