Athena Harris POV
“You okay?” the moment I heard his voice, my body instantly relaxed. I moved forward and hugged him tightly. My sobs shook my body as I felt his arms going around me. It is one of the best feeling to be in the arms of your loved ones when they have been giving you the cold shoulder.
“You are here” I hiccup back a sob. When he tries to move away, I don’t let him and tightened my hold on to me.
He does not reply. He doesn’t need to. The fact that he is here and me being in his arms says it all. He cared enough to be here, knowing I would be getting my nightmare at this time around.
I did not ask anything further because I know this moment won’t last. Soon or might right this moment, he will change and go back to his previous ways. Whatever his reasons are, I will accept
