I was mingling around with others after the dance when Xerxes and Eva come and stands beside me.
“Where is Athena?” asks Eva as she looks here and there.
“She has gone to use washroom” I let them know.
“You left her alone, surprising” smirks Xerxes my way.
I don’t reply to him but suddenly I did not feel good about that thought. I felt uneasy about it. That is why the next moment, I excused myself from the group.
“Excuse me” with that said I walk out of the room and follow my mate’s scent. I was walking down the corridor when I feel a person from another pack walking ahead of me. My brows furrowed. I was about to ask when out of nowhere Lisa appears beside me.
