I haven’t been able to face Maeve after Zoey’s little outburst at the meeting. It didn’t help that I had told her that I loved her only for Zoey to blindside me with the DNA results and now she wants a relationship with me or she would tarnish my name. I had made sure that all my communications to Maeve were through Brianna, my assistant.
