Chapter TwelveW hen I got home, I looked over the Town Tavern website but didn’t find a mention of the bartender’s name. I had better luck with a Google search with the terms “Garland Town Tavern” and “bartender.” The first result was a link to an article published in the local newspaper the previous summer. The story about popular cocktails for the season featured four bartenders from local restaurants. A photo of each interviewed bartender accompanied the article. The Town Tavern bartender was recognizable from his too-cool-to-smile demeanor and hairstyle. “There you are, Mr. Gavin Nolan.” I did a search on his name and got nothing more than a few links, all of which related to Gavin’s job at the Town Tavern.
