I stopped dwelling in my self-realization to find both Isabella and David looking at me, waiting for me to speak.
"Is that a yes or no? " Isabella asks as I keep staring back at them cluelessly.
I looked around trying to remember what we were talking about but to no avail. How long did I space out for?
"Sorry what was the question?" I asked not able to take the awkward silence any longer.
"Are you free now to discuss introducing the idea of us to Liam, it's better to do earlier than later," Isabella said pointing toward herself and David.
Way to rub in my face, I got what 'us' meant when she said it but no she had to make sure to specify it.
"Of course," I said giving my biggest fake smile.
