Duke's mind went to the present time when his secretary calls his name.

" Sir Duke, excuse me we already landed in the Philippines. "

" Oh sorry, I was just thinking about something I didn't know that we already landed. " I stand up and went out off the plane. Upon walking my phone rang, it is my son.

" Dad I heard that you are already back in the Philippines. Are you going here straight in the office? I can cancel some of my meetings if we will be talking about your sudden investment with Montemayor's Hotel. " Investment with the Montemayor is my decision. Even if King is now the CEO I still have rights to every project in the company.

" Let's talk about it tomorrow I will be going home now. I'm tired from the flight. Aren't you going home today? "

" No, I'm not. I will be staying in my pad. Gonna hang up dad I have a meeting in a minute. "

As I hang up the call I can't stop thinking about why my Dad suddenly invests in Montemayor's Hotel expansion. Yes, it will be a great deal because their Hotel is already known here in the Philippines and Australia it can surely bring money to our Empire. But we can build Hotel in Japan using our name. I don't know what is my Dad's plan, did he invest because he wanted to get close to Claire's mother? I can't stop thinking I need to talk to my mom regarding this. At exactly 6:30 PM I arrived at our Hotel. I talk to the manager in charge if everything I have said is already ready, the room and the food that I asked them to prepare. Tonight we will announce to our parents that we are already engaged. I didn't ask Claire's hands to Aunt Isabelle hope that she will not get angry.

It is our 20th-month celebration, I want to surprise Claire so I arrange a romantic dinner on the rooftop of our hotel. I prepare food and table, there is also a musician so we can have a romantic ambiance. I'm happy because my secretary arranges everything well. I mean I'm the one who thinks all about this but my secretary is the one who makes everything possible about my plans. As we celebrate our monthsary I will also take this opportunity to propose to Claire. I'm delighted to have Claire even if I don't have enough time for her she still loves and understand me. " I didn't know about that. It is true that I and Isabelle are a couple but we broke up 3 months before your mom and I got married. You know that I and your mom was arranged marriage because we needed your mom's family helps to our company. That's the reason why I and Isabelle broke up I didn't know that we have a child. When i get inside of my car I call our driver to ask where are they. But he's not answering my call and my mom's phone is unreachable. I call my secretary to let him track the car my mom's using. All our cars have GPS for emergency purposes. After a couple of minutes, my secretary messages me their location. They are in our family's rest house in Tagaytay. Despite the hurt and sadness that I'm feeling right now because of our canceled engagement, my mom needed me the most. I will just set aside my own difficulty for now.

I come back to reality when I heard a knock on my door.

" Come in " doors open and saw my secretary.

" Sir, I just wanted to remind you that you have a meeting outside. One hour from now. " I forget about it because of my father.

" Tell the driver to be ready I will go down right away. "
