"You're late Ms. Williams." The warm greeting of my beloved employee welcomed me as I walked into my office. His cold glare and arctic waves of disapproval radiating off of him made me immediately feel at home.
"Yes sir." I cheerfully agreed, dropped my purse on my desk, and dropped down in my chair. I crossed my left leg over my right "One hour, thirteen minutes and..... " I took a quick glance at my wristwatch to cross-check. ".... twenty-eight seconds." I nodded my head, deeply satisfied with my time-telling qualities. I interlocked my fingers and placed them behind my head using them as additional support with the headrest.
