“Morning sunshine.” Ashley’s voice greeted me as I walked to the kitchen. She was sitting at the kitchen island, munching on her cereal dry. “Morning Ash.” I filled my cup with coffee. It was all I could take before going to work. “Ready for work?.” She said and I nodded. “Is it me or do you look prettier today.” I chuckled. “And that’s the smile I wanted to see.” She laughed. “So you were lying about me looking pretty.” I rolled my eyes before taking a sip of my coffee. “Of course not. You always look pretty and–” she paused and then gasped dramatically. Her hands covered her mouth and her wide eyes were staring down at my feet.
