The Town

1130 Words
Throst guides me towards a big stone building, but only a small wooden door is in the wall. Throst crouches down and knocks on the door, then a small green person wearing plate armour opens the door, throst ask the goblin to open the medium doors. Then the door slams shut and the entire stone wall opens up to revel a massive prison and about 30 goblins all wearing plate armour. Then two small goblins run up to us and escorts us to a small room in that room, it had a little tiny desk and chairs. There we met a red goblin wearing a dark black armour. He spoke in a deep raspy voice “Ah so you finally found your girl friend hehe, so what Did you end up finding out about the missing town?” He asks, “well the town was stolen by a necromancer although I have my doubts he wasn’t much trouble when i dealt with him There was no way he had enough power to trap an entire town in a snow globe, so it could be possible that he had help, not only that the Time with in the snow globe behaved differently compared to the outside. I have with me miss Alicia the only survivor of the tragic event. According to her she been trapped in it for fifteen years. But to us it’s only been week minus the fact that spent a few weeks looking for Alicia and rescuing her before reporting back to you. In conclusion I believe there’s more than we know right now but the trail runs cold. But then again it’s no longer my concern if it alright with you a take my payment and go oh I almost forgot” Throst places the snow globe I was trapped in, onto the table The red goblin shows concern about the subject, but in the end he payed Throst for his efforts and we left shortly afterward i was a bit curious on why the guards in this town are all goblins. But that’s none of my business , so me and Throst headed toward a tavern and before entering it a woman was thrown through the window from the inside out onto the dirt. Throst opens the door and we walk in, I can see people drinking and fighting it was so amazing. I loved how lively this town is, Throst guide me through the chaos until we reach the bar tender. “ a room for two please” Throst asks, “oh certainly sir that would be a hundred gold” the bar tender responds . “Look we both know that a room for two is not worth 100 Gold. So how bout you give me it free of charge and I won’t tell everyone in here that your scamming them of their money and the fact that your using addictive chemicals in your drinks” Throst declares, the bar tender is shaken by Throsts threat and reluctantly hands Throst the keys afterwards we headed to our room.  The room was large damp and poorly maintained, but was better than were I used to sleep. There was two beds in the room one was bigger than the other one. One had one of its legs broken and was being propped up by three books. The room stunk like dead animals, it didn’t take long to find out why the smell was coming from the mattress of the small bed a huge rip across the mattress revealed a decaying raccoon. I grabbed it with two fingers and throw it out the window. As fun and lively this place is there not very good at keeping it clean. But otherwise it will do for now, i really don’t have anything so I need to worry about anything getting stolen. But without warning I realised that I going to sleep in the same room with Throst my face went red again. “But who was sleeping in what bed?” I ask trying to hide my cheeks, “you can take the big one, I’ll sleep in the one that had a raccoon in it” he responds. While folding his cloak and placing onto the side table. “So is that cloak so important?” I ask. Throst looks at me, “my mother made it for me before she died” he sadly responds. “Oh if you don’t mind me asking how did she die?.” I hesitantly ask “well when I was young around the age of 12, some bandits raided the house, my mother and father protect me to the best of their abilities But they died in the process their last words Was run.” Says Throst. “And what about the arm?” I ask “ well running for my life a pack of wolfs caught my scent they attacked and ripped my arm off in the chaos I fell off a cliff. When I regained consciousness my left arm was made of unmeltable ice.” He responded. “One more question I noticed that the sword was not a normal sword who made it? It looks well made” I quickly ask Throst sighs clearly over with all the questions “After that the neighbour who was a wizard found me about a few years passes by. Then the wizard goes on an expedition to locate special artifices. he never came back so I went back to my old home to take a look around. I found a loose board in the house I pulled it up from the floor, to see this cloak and a note. Apparently it was for my 18th birthday. This sword was wrapped up in the cloak it was made by my father And thats how I found my sword.” Throst responds. “Is that it?” He asks “yeah” I sadly respond feeling bad about asking so many questions. Then I noticed what time it was, the sun has just begin to set, I went to bed with throsts words swirling through my mind. This man knows what it’s like to be lonely hours went by before I drifted to sleep. But even after waking up nothing could take my mind off of Throst. Except maybe food I haven’t eaten anything since yesterday night. I get up and notice that Throst has already left but he left his sword behind so I expect that he would be back. I grab my things like uh... my knife and whip I don’t have as many things as Throst. I then remember the Crescent  moon necklace that Throst brought me. I franticly look around for it every second that goes by the fear rises until I find it underneath the side table, a wash of relief Washes over me I hold it in my hands and smile. I put it around my neck where I know it’s safe.
