My eyes fluttered open with a loud gasp. My body felt heavy as I tried to move it, but it didn't bulge. I stiffened, my eyes darting around.
“Where am I?” The question barely escaped my lips.
Dark walls, cold floor, rusted chains, faint blood smell.
My chest tightened. Even though I didn't know where I was, I knew this place was dangerous, and I wasn't meant to be here.
