Chapter 3 Alvin My eyes tracked the dude in the suit over to Briella and Ada. I could tell by Bri’s stiff back and crossed arms that the guy was not there to give her a big check. Judging by the envelope he left on the table, he was serving her for something. The guy walked back toward me. He nodded in my direction, and I stepped out from behind the bar. “What was that?” I demanded.
