Briella’s words hurt. Maybe more than they should have. I went over there to tell her how I really felt, that I was in love with her, but instead she told me she didn’t want me in her life.
Maybe she didn’t say those exact words, but that’s what she meant. She didn’t trust me, and she didn’t want me. She still saw me as the guy who was going to let her down. The guy who hurt her sister and avoided commitment like the plague.
