I went into Opposites Attract early the next day despite my late night at Laughlin’s. I had the bride’s drink ready for Kiana and Ada to taste before the wedding, with a couple of back ups in case they didn’t like the one I preferred. Micah was already in the kitchen hard at work when I got there. Kiana and Sawyer were in his office going over the plan for the day. I mixed up the drink and poured samples into five small glasses, then distributed it to Micah, Ada, Jack, Kiki, and Sawyer. Micah, Ada, and Jack all loved it. They said it had the right amount of sweet without making their teeth hurt. In the end, Kiki’s opinion was the one that really mattered, though. “What’s this?” she asked when I walked into Sawyer’s office. “Today’s custom drink. The bride is Iris, right?” Kiki nodded
