LINCOLN
I watched as she peacefully had her breakfast. Very calm and not disturbed. I remembered the torture I had to go through the night before with the cold shower and all but I couldn’t touch her..I just couldn’t.
The drive was quiet again. Very unsettling for me. She usually prefers to talk to me in the mornings and I used to be the one to shut her up..what happened to the Eliza I used to know? Was she doing this intentionally?
Because she was getting to me without stress. We got to the office and she got off the car and walked in like we didn’t arrive together. I tried walking briskly behind her to her in the elevator.
“We are taking the private one” I said to her
She just paused, passed me a side glance and moved towards the private elevator.
I still couldn’t do anything in the elevator. It was just the both of us but something was holding me back.
It’s still unbelievable to me that I let her go yesterday after she was dressed that hot. On a very normal day I would have bent her over desk for a good f**k.
The elevator dinged and I walked straight into my office.
The image of her smiling at her colleagues especially that Ric guy flashed through my mind and I crumbled the paper I was writing on.
For f***s sake I couldn’t concentrate. I groaned and leaned into my seat, turned to look outside the glass wall at the view of the city to get my mind off for a few minutes.
When I couldn’t endure it any longer, I reached for my table and pressed the intercom.
“Yes Mr Lincoln” Her voice sounded
Why can’t she call me anything else? Why must it sound so formal?
‘But I’m her boss’ I reminded myself
“what can I help you with sir?”
I snapped back to earth. I didn’t even realize I had zoned out.
“Coffee please”
ELIZA
The reaction I got from Lincoln was definitely not what I expected from him.
Was my dress not attractive enough? I know it was, that Clyde guy was everywhere around me which was pretty much annoying but I endured because I wanted a reaction out of Lincoln.
The ride home was not what I expected as well and then he was by my window and I thought maybe after the eye contact he will be up to my room but man stayed away all night. How would he even look at me when he has Imani?
“But she’s his cousin” I face palmed.
Then he made us use the private elevator this morning and I thought maybe he noticed the extra effort I put into looking pretty but nothing went on in the elevator.
When we got to the office I just ignored him and chatted away with Ric and the rest of my colleagues. If I continued to pay attention to him I might loose my mind.
After sometime of having myself buried in work, the intercom rang and he asked for coffee.
I had to go get it. Black and strong just the way he liked it.
One knock on the door and I was dragged in, slammed against the door, coffee poured and my lips were attacked.
His hot lips were literally everywhere – sucking, biting, pulling
I moaned into the kiss and his tongue gained entrance to my mouth
His hands were everywhere, my hands too weren’t left out.
“ I’ve been meaning to do this since yesterday” he groaned and our lips met again
He pulled me closer to himself, fumbling my ass and my breast was squashed into his chest. I pulled tightly on his hair till he groaned
We got to his desk – I don’t know how. He swept his office work off the table and threw me on it, my laps parted and him standing between it. We were so engrossed in each other
“ Oh my God” we heard at the door
We immediately pulled away. I hurriedly flew down from the table, arranging my clothes.
“ I didn’t see anything…I swear..I didn’t” Imani stood with her eyes closed at the door
“ but that was hot” she added and ran out
What in the bikini bottoms was she suddenly doing here?
"Oh f**k" I heard Lincoln mutter over me.
I stood straight and adjusted my dress.
As I stood there, trying to process what had just happened, Lincoln's face turned beet red with anger and embarrassment. He quickly composed himself and walked over to the door, slamming it shut.
"That was so embarrassing" I didn't realize when I said so. "I don't want his getting anymore weird, I'll just leave" I added.
He said nothing and just watched me leave. His facial expression read total confusion.
I walked out of his office and met Imani standing right outside, obviously waiting for us finish our drama. She smiled at me so widely and I returned it with a weird crooked smile.
Lincoln also came out of his office seconds later.
"Imani, what are you doing here?" he growled, trying to maintain his composure.
"I, uh, needed to discuss some business with you, cousin," Imani replied, still standing outside the door.
Lincoln's eyes narrowed. "Can't it wait?"
There was a pause before Imani responded, "No, it can't."
Lincoln sighed and turned to me. "Eliza, can you give us a minute?"
I nodded, still trying to process the intense passion that had just erupted between us. I quickly further to my cubicle and sat.
As I walked back to my desk, I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. Guilt, excitement, and confusion swirled inside me. What had just happened? And why did it feel so right?
LINCOLN
Of all times Imani had to come, why in the world was it now?
I decided to walk back into my office and Imani follower suite, at once shutting the door behind her.
I was trying to compose myself. I couldn't believe what had just happened, it felt amazing. But now, with Imani standing in my office door, I felt a pang of guilt.
"Imani, what's so important?" he asked, trying to sound calm.
"It's about the Smith account," Imani replied, entering the office. "We need to discuss the marketing strategy."
"Really? Why did you have to come now?"
"It wasn't intentional trust me. Don't worry I'm taking this to my grave." She told me, placing her right hand on her chest; unnecessarily being dramatic.
I nodded, trying to focus on the task at hand. But my mind kept wandering back to Eliza, and the passion we had just shared.
As the meeting with Imani dragged on, I couldn't help but feel restless. I needed to see Eliza again, to talk to her about what had just happened.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Imani left. I quickly got up and walked out of my office, searching for Eliza.
I found her at her desk, typing away on her computer. I walked up behind her and cleared my throat.
"Eliza, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked, trying to sound calm.
She nodded, still typing away.
"Let's go to the private elevator," I said, I could hear my voice sound low and husky.
She looked tensed all of a sudden, like her heart skipped a beat as she got up and followed me to the elevator.
