I was fully awake but refused to open my eyes. My body felt heavy like it was being pressed down by a building or worse. My mind felt uneasy for some reason, no matter how hard I tried, I could not remember what had happened in my dream. I felt so empty like I had done something,a heavy task that was assigned to me or like I just gave something away then a memory flashed in my head. True or false it was a memory of Kaiden lying unconscious. I jerked up to a sitting position. I was not in the same clothes I slept in but the strange thing was how messy my bed was. What happened? Did I dream or not? I checked underneath my clothes to confirm and surely, I found new marks on my skin. I had a dream which meant… I threw off the blanket and jumped down the bed.
