Pain. Never in my life have I welcomed it with urgency and need. It didn't even occur to me the extent I was reaching till my lungs began to burn and breathing became hard. There was a loud ringing in my head that made me feel as if my ears were going to bleed. My entire body was shaking, I was going crazy, I wanted to scream but I swallowed it.
How long has it been now. An hour? Thirty minutes? A day? I'm afraid to stop, I don't think I have gathered enough strength to heal Kaiden. I was getting dizzy, my body slowly began to feel numb. My mind slowly crawled into the darkness and I felt myself began to float.
