Shaira ate dinner all alone for the first time in weeks and it was simply because Zavier had to attend an important function, and had kept to his promise to never take her for them again.
She didn’t mind, after what happened the last time, she would gladly sit out the gathering.
They had chosen to not attend any parties for a while after their engagement which was reasonable, it also gave them quality time to spend with one another.
Shaira wasn’t much of a party person herself and neither was Zavier, he said the shallow people that filled the parties sickened him.
She would choose to spend a whole night with him over going for some party anyday.
