“There’s something I’ve always wanted to tell you and was waiting for the right time to say it.” He said seriously, staring out through the windscreen at the view outside.
Shaira shifted in her seat, confused, she had been expecting him to confront her upfront about what she had to hide.
Maybe she had been worrying about something entirely different and he wasn’t even onto her. She would like to relax and be eased by this but she had no idea what he had to say, it just gave her something new to be nervous about.
Zavier glanced at her. “I guess loving someone isn’t enough, you have to build trust too.”
Shaira felt his words sting her, she hadn’t done very well on the trust part.
“Come outside with me?” He invited her.
“Sure.” Shaira agreed, her throat feeling dry.
