The Kinada waiting for them to absorb the first information after that he continued. "In the South of Aetharia, some of the Soul hunters I sent to scout the area came back with an information. They said the people are dying they but they can't see any shadeborns." "That means it's not just the ordinary shadeborns. They are the Elemental blenders." Skyler said with knowing look. "Yes Skyler. They kill the people of that area and their power gets stronger." The Kinada said with a somewhat sad look about the situation. He continued, "We were told that not just did the Elemental blenders kill the people but they also are trying to join forces with the other shadeborns." "I see, it's that serious." Skyler said then Shaked his head. After thinking for a while he continued, "If the Elemental blenders take in more souls then even the S rank soul hunters won't be able to go one on one with them." "Yes you are right." The Kinada said "So this is more than a S rank mission." Miguel cut in. "Yes it is Miguel. Only both of you can handle this mission. Weighing it well I know it's a suicide mission...." The Kinada sighed then continued, "But only you both can handle it that I trust." Skyler and Miguel understood the Kinada plight. This mission was something only both of them could handle. The trust the Kinada put in them won't be in vain. With both of them bowing respectfully they accepted the mission. With a sigh, he continued, "Your trust is not misplaced, Kinada," Skyler replied respectfully, his expression resolute. "We'll do our best, Sensei," Skyler said with a reassuring smile. He and Miguel turned and left the Kinada's office, their footsteps echoing through the grand corridors of Hunters Creek. The weight of their upcoming mission hung heavy in the air as Skyler and Miguel left the Kinada's presence. They were acutely aware that the task before them was anything but easy, yet they were determined not to let the Kinada's trust go to waste. After departing from the Kinada's office, Skyler and Miguel made their way to Skyler's room in the Hunters Creek Lodge, a place where Soul Hunters found respite amidst their arduous duties. Miguel leaned against the entrance, his gaze fixed on Skyler as he asked, "What do you think about this mission?" Skyler, seated on his bed, stretched his arms wearily before responding, "We are the only ones who can carry out this mission." Miguel's uneasiness was palpable as he continued, "I know, but I just have a bad feeling about this mission." Skyler, always one for a playful tease, couldn't resist a smirk. "Are you scared?" he quipped. Miguel turned to look at Skyler, shaking his head, a bitter smile forming on his lips. Skyler, sensing Miguel's concerns, rose from his bed and walked over to his friend, patting his shoulder reassuringly. "Let's prepare for the mission," he said. "We've accepted it, and as Soul Hunters, it's our duty. We'll face whatever challenges come our way together." The sun hung low on the horizon as Skyler and Miguel descended from the lodge's upper floor. In the heart of Hunters Creek, preparations for their mission were already in motion. Soul Hunters bustled about, sharpening their blades, enchanting their armor, and tending to their magical incantations. The air hummed with a sense of urgency and purpose. As they strode through the central courtyard, Skyler and Miguel were met with nods of respect and encouragement from their fellow Soul Hunters. News of their impending mission had already spread, and the weight of expectation hung in the air. Their first stop was the armory, a vast chamber lined with racks of gleaming swords, mystical amulets, and protective gear forged from the finest materials. An elderly Soul Hunter named Eldric, the armory's master, greeted them with a knowing smile. "Skyler, Miguel," Eldric began, "I've prepared the finest equipment for your mission. These blades have vanquished countless Shadeborns, and these amulets will shield you from their dark magic." Skyler inspected the offered weaponry, selecting a blade that felt like an extension of his own arm. Miguel chose a set of throwing daggers, his preference for swift and precise strikes evident. With their new gear secured, they moved to the enchanter's corner. A master enchanter named Aria stood amidst a whirlwind of arcane energy. She approached them, her eyes alight with an ethereal glow. "Skyler, Miguel," Aria greeted them. "I've imbued your equipment with protective wards and offensive enchantments. May they serve you well." Skyler and Miguel exchanged nods of gratitude, their weapons now pulsing with newfound power. Their next destination was the library, a repository of knowledge where scrolls and tomes chronicled the history of Shadeborns and the secrets of their world. The Soul Hunter librarian, an elderly scholar named Tarian, awaited them. "Skyler, Miguel," Tarian said, his voice rich with wisdom. "The Kinada believes that knowledge is your greatest weapon. Study these texts, and you may uncover the key to defeating the Elemental Blenders." Skyler and Miguel delved into the ancient texts, absorbing the intricacies of Shadeborn lore and the weaknesses of their formidable foes. Hours passed in silent study, interrupted only by the occasional exchange of insights. In the courtyard, Soul Hunters continued their training, honing their combat skills and magical prowess. The air crackled with the resonance of spells and the clash of blades. Among them, Lina, John, and Ella practiced diligently, their determination unwavering. Skyler and Miguel approached their young proteges, their presence commanding attention. Lina, in particular, gazed at them with admiration, her eyes mirroring her eagerness to learn. John spoke up, "Skyler, Miguel, do you have any advice for us?" Miguel offered a reassuring smile. "Stay vigilant and trust in your training. Your time will come to face challenges like this." Ella added, "And remember, you're not alone. We're all part of this community." As the sun dipped below the horizon, Skyler and Miguel returned to their room in the lodge. The mission ahead was daunting, but their resolve remained unshaken. "Tomorrow, we depart," Skyler said, his voice filled with determination. Miguel nodded. "Together, we'll face the Elemental Blenders and protect Aetharia from their shadow." Under the watchful gaze of a moonlit sky, the Soul Hunters readied themselves for the arduous journey that awaited them, united by purpose and bound by their unbreakable bond.
