White hot rage courses through me. My students. My pups. It’s a reflex to reach toward the Prism Master’s shield. “You bastard! How dare you hurt them?” That fae side of my soul seems to float outside of my body, looking down upon this scene as if from a great height. I watch myself scream with rage while a silver mist forms over my palms. “No!” I cry. “Leave them alone!” The metallic haze over my hands turns into liquid ribbons of silver that whip toward the Prism Master’s mirror-shield. The shield’s reflective surface turns liquid as my lines of power burrow inside the mirror itself.
