CHAPTER 29 "Wake up, Jamie." In my dream, someone was whispering in my ear and it was annoying. I rolled over to make it stop. "Go away," I said, "I'm sleeping. Why are you torturing me?" I pulled the pillow over my face. Kip laughed. He was kneeling next to the bed, his face a few inches from mine. Freshly-showered, his damp hair smelled like coconut shampoo.
