Early in the morning, I was ready to take Jensen to school. Jensen had finished breakfast while I was going to have breakfast with April. Jason was still sitting at the dining table enjoying his breakfast. His eyes and hands had been focused on his cell phone since earlier. I wanted to complain, but I was sure he was texting Bella. Since he woke up, he had only greeted Jensen and me with a single word: “Hi.”
Last night was the same. He came home late at night, claiming he had to work overtime. I tried asking Kimmy earlier, and she told me there were no employees working overtime.
