I immediately opened my eyes and held them open. “Mark, take me to the cafe instead. We can have lunch there. A late lunch.” Mark nodded, then drove me to the cafe I had been frequenting for years. I had a special seat at the cafe, in the room's corner, far away from the other customers. To the left of the table was a large window that looked directly into the backyard.
