“Let’s go in,” Chris said. Mark opened the door and let Chloe and me go in first.
When the waiter saw us, she came over and showed us to a table in the corner of the room next to a large window overlooking the garden. If I remember correctly, Chris seemed to enjoy sitting in the corner, away from the crowd. Our seats that night were also far from the crowd.
The waiter gave us four menus. We opened the menus slowly, reading each page carefully. In less than ten minutes, we had finished ordering our food.
Suddenly, Chris said to Mark, “Tomorrow morning, we’re going to do some surveillance.”
“Was that Sarah who called you?” Mark asked curiously.
“Yes. She told me that tomorrow Greg, Hugo, and Lisa are going together to the newly opened hot springs. Prepare the car and disguises.”
