11 Zara Despite her blurred vision she realized that she wasn’t in the same room anymore. Instead of the dark wood panels, the ceiling here was white and as her gaze travelled down the walls it stopped at the elegant castle-worthy light green arras with printed golden ornaments around white flowers. Panicked, she tore her eyes completely open and found that she was lying in bed, covered by a thin linen sheet. She wiggled her bare feet and didn’t dare to acknowledge how much of her clothes she was wearing beneath the linen sheet. She shot up in the bed, but a searing headache incapacitated her and she closed her eyes again, sinking back into the horizontal position. The consequences of downing an entire water glass full of vodka attacked her with a vengeance and the urge to vomit joined
