18 Vladi All day he’d spent outside in torrential rain and was drenched to his bones. His foul mood accurately matched the awful weather, as he kicked a few pebbles ahead of him. Snooping around the Wiesbaden airfield had been a complete loss of time. He hadn’t been able to smuggle himself inside the security area, and the only thing he saw was the runway slowly turning into a muddy lake. Not nearly enough intelligence to justify a day out in the rain. He decided to call it a day and return to his accommodations, where he’d phone in to his office and report the non-news.
