“Wait a bit, Kate,” Mac said. “I want you to meet someone.”
He took her hand and walked her out to the downstream wharf where Teuthis was moored. They didn’t stop at the brow but instead walked right to the end of the wharf. Mac put his fingers to his lips and whistled loudly.
