Lavender’s POV “ I ordered an espresso with cream, not black coffee!”, the customer complains I checked the order again and I realized she did order an espresso with cream. Sighing, I apologize and prepare her actual order. Earlier that day.. I worked a late night shift yesterday and barely got enough sleep. I got home at 4am this morning and I went up to Lisa’s room to check on her. She was fast asleep. I decided not to disturb her sleep. I go around our apartment, the one i could afford because keeping our parent’s house was more than i could handle. So i got a smaller apartment conducive for Lisa and I. I check the kitchen and I see Lisa has done all the work. I retire to my room, freshen up and try to get some sleep before 7am. My morning shift starts at 8am. Somehow, I wake up immediately after my alarm goes off. I went to Lisa’s room to wake her up so she wouldn’t be late to school. And I prepare to go to work, but I'm seriously stressed out. Present time.. After the lady leaves, my boss walks up to me. “You can’t keep messing up people’s orders, Lavender.“ Right, this isn’t the first time I did that and I think he’s starting to get annoyed by it. But he doesn’t show it. He excuses himself and heads back to his office. And I continue to work. When the day ends, I go home excited because the next day is Saturday! Which is the only day I get to go to the gym and be with Lisa. I wake up Saturday morning to the smell of sizzling pancakes. I check the time on my phone and I see it’s almost 10AM. Luckily for me, I don't have shifts on Saturdays. I get up from bed. Walking to the kitchen, I hear Lisa singing along to Young and beautiful by Lana Del Rey. Sensing my presence she turns around and comes to hug me. “I’m making your favorite, PANCAKES!” she yells I giggle. She’s literally the sweetest. She makes my favorite meals when she can because she knows I usually don’t have the energy to do so myself. “You’re heading to the gym today.” Lisa says Surprised, I asked “How did you know?” “You always go to the gym every Saturday, leave home by 2PM, get back at 4PM and complain about back pain .” she says How could I not know she remembers every single detail of what I do. After we have breakfast, we do the dishes together while we catch up on our activities of the week. “Will you be able to make it to dinner tonight?” Lisa asks I mentally calculate how much I have and if it’s enough to make us dinner. I need to buy groceries for tonight’s dinner, ordering takeouts is getting tiring and it’s consuming more than i’ve to spare. “Yes Lisa, i will” Now the time is 1:30PM, we both are done with the household chores and i am ready to go to the gym. I go in to freshen up and change into my gym clothes, on my way out I grab my water bottle and wave Lisa goodbye. “Be safe Lav!” She says
