Relocating to Abuja

“Claire”!!! My girls Jenny and Emma screamed my name in excitement as they sighted me from the parlor’s window getting off the cab. They rushed out to hug me with so much energy that we all fell and rolled on the ground with so much happiness. I’ve missed them so much. we’ve been planning my relocation to Abuja for a very long time now and I’m glad I’m finally here.

“I can’t believe you’re finally here Claire!! After so much procrastination” Emma said rolling her eyes at me while she dishes me some food, she cooks so well and she loves to cook too.

“Don’t even start with me right now, what matters is that I’m here now no?” I replied with a little smirk on my face.

Just when Emma was about to reply me, Jenny interrupted “okay okay!! Guys we have a lot to do tonight we’ve gotta plan our night” I already knew what Jenny was getting at cause she’s such a party animal but i acted as though I didn’t.

“Do we”? I asked Jenny sarcastically pretending I didn’t already know what she was getting at.

“You know we need to hit the club tonight right? We need to welcome you properly Claire” she replied with a big smile, doing a little dance while sitting.

“Yasssss let’s turn the f*ck up!!” Emma screamed in excitement. At this point I got reminded of how crazy my friends are and I’m just the homebody who never wants to leave the house.

“Guys, can we do this tomorrow”? I requested with puppy eyes, “I really am tired from the journey and I need to settle in” I continued.

“It’s just 4pm; you can settle in, get a nice hot shower and rest little” Jenny adamantly said.

“Urgghh” I groaned in annoyance while I eat my food knowing fully well I cannot escape them.

“I’ll pick a dress for you, we’ll leave by 11pm” Emma added.

“See? I told you you’ve got plenty of time to rest” they both laughed knowing fully well they’ve got me perfectly trapped.

“Whatever” I said while I quickly finished my food. After eating I unpacked and laid in bed to rest my back so I can have enough energy to go wild with my girls tonight, I’ve missed nights like this.
