  KIMBERLY'S POV   "Who are you people? What do you want from me?" My voice was firm but laced with undertones of demand, as if seeking an explanation from these people, and my wrists wriggled uselessly against the coarse ropes binding them.   The only light, filtering from a warehouse across the road, cast long anachronistic shadows between the group of men standing around me. One moved forward. His eyes met mine with all the cold intensity of a cobra.   “You should have died ten years ago,” he hissed in that low voice replete with poison.   "What…what do you mean?" I stammered - the sound of my heart was loud in my ears.   He said no more. He snorted and nodded to one of the lackeys, who continued staring at me. I was trying to recollect, trying to make out what he was driving at. T
