Episode 5

"My king,Lord Garius is here!!! King's announcer announced..

The king spranged up,looking shocked,scared at the same time,,"what is the Minister of justice doing here at this moment?" he thought inwardly,,while Larisa secretly smiled.

Unexpected sweat instantly covered king Alex, lord Garius entered, he looked so scary and lady Larisa excused herself...

Your majesty"he bowed slightly, I heard what happened and why didn't you sent for me, your majesty? He looked at the king furiously. King Alex throat dried that he found it so hard to speak...

"Ermm, minister of Justice, Nothing really happened, it's just,,,,,,, the queen lost her pregnancy and .....

"And how does that have anything to do with my daughter!

"Lord Garius, I will do the needful, leave it to me,,, I know what I'm doing..

" And when have you ever done anything on your own without my help? Lord Garius cut him off, looking at him disgustingly.

"And what about our last time agreement, my king?" He asked tauntingly.

" I fulfilled what you asked me to do, it's your daughter that refuse to cooperate,, he answered nervously.

And Lord Garius stood up immediately, bowed down for the king before existing the king's chamber,, heading down to the cell where Josephine was being locked up.. immediately Josephine slighted lord Garius, she instantly stood up looking fearless as she already knew the reason why lord Garius came to help her!

"My lady" he bowed slightly. And why are you not keeping our agreement?! He asked furiously.

"I will fulfill our agreement, just help me out of this mess, and how is my mother? Didn't she asked of me at all?

"You need to sleep with the king as soon as possible so you can bear the heir to the throne, let's not waste each other's time! He whispered, avoiding her question.

"I will do as you wish,just help me out this once and I will sleep with the king as promised!" She gritted her teeths.

Lord Garius left without uttering another word ,but left angrily,

Josephine thought it was Silas that delivered her message to the Minister of justice,and she instantly smiled, feeling grateful to Silas as she promised to return the favour one day.

As lord Garius was about to leave the palace ,lady Larisa hurriedly came across him,they exchange unpleasant greetings,,The atmosphere was not friendly at all as the two enemies stood In front of each other..

"My lady,how do I owe this pleasure,I was told you were the one that sent your maid to delivered my daughter's message,and how do I return this mighty favour ,my lady"he bowed, looking creepy, knowing lady Larisa will never do anything for free and she's definitely expecting something in return.

"Lord Garius,and why would I asked for anything in return for just a mere favor,"she laughed teasingly...well..,I just need a small favour to ask from you,it's about your late best friend's families, Minister of justice, I heard the girl and her mother left to another kingdom?is that true?, my Lord? Lady Larisa asked tauntingly.

"Ermm,,,my lady,they're doing fine as you're worried about their wellbeing,they're perfectly doing good in their new country! He answered, surprised at the sudden question of lady Larisa, of why was she asking for his best friends family all of a sudden,what business does she have with the Lord Zenya's family.

"She must be up to something"he thought inwardly as he continue staring at Larisa ,trying to figure out what's going on in her mind,and lady Larisa instantly figured out that , something was really fishy with how Lord Garius answered to her question,that lord Garius action was really suspecious.

"Well,im just curious because it's been long that I heard from them,and with what happened two years ago is still a mystery to me that I'm still finding it hard to believe that something like that would really happened to Lord Zenya" she Said sadly.

"If you will excuse me my lady and thanks for your kind favour"he bowed slightly and just like that, he left

Silas having mixed feelings while walking to the cell to release Josephine on king Alex's order, immediately he opened the gate for Josephine to step out, Josephine immediately hugged him tight and for a second, Silas heart started beating fast, and he froze on his spot, Josephine looked up to him, and instantly realized what she did, thinking that she shouldn't have hugged him, what if someone was looking, what if the king see them in that position, and she immediately felt sad that she embarrassed herself, even though she was just feeling happy thinking Silas did delivered her message to Lord Garius..

"Ermm, I'm sorry, I might have lost it for a moment that I forgot myself, I'm sorry , and thank you, you don't know the gravity of what you did for me, and I promise, I'm going to return the favour, I promise"she said happily.

"My lady" the king asked you to come to the palace, he said", trying to comport himself.

"Why the palace and not his chamber, what happened, tell me! What happened d, "she asked curiously that why would the king summoned her into the palace all of a sudden, "has he summoned the Ministers, are they trying to depose her of her title, no!, not yet, this is not what lord Garius promised her"she thought inwardly thinking about so many possibilities.

"I have no idea, my lady, now if you will please follow me"Silas answered.

Immediately they stepped into the palace, Silas excused himself as Josephine looked at everywhere and was surprised as why would the king summoned her into the palace, Alone.

"Your majesty" , she bowed, she looked at king Alex seated majestically, looking angrily like he was going to devour her or something, not like she did anything yet, so why,,, Josephine wondered...

Lady Josephine, I want to ask you a question and I want an honest answer as soon as possible ,,, since you're lord Garius's daughter, you should know where his best friend's families are, tell me where they are and I will reward you handsomely"the king asked curiously.

And for a second, Josephine heart skipped, wondering why is he asking about her family, is he planning to kill them as he killed his father?...

"Ermm, I don't,,,,," and the king cut her off.

" I want the truth only" he snapped angrily, which made Josephine staggered, trying to hold her stand,,,,,,,,

WHY DO YOU THINK THE KING IS ASKING ABOUT LORD ZENYA FROM JOSEPHINE?
