CHAPTER TWO- THROWN OUT.

1090 Words
Inside the Wilford mansion, Mr. Wilford was pacing around the sitting room with fury in his eyes. He couldn’t bear to offend the Waals, the marriage ceremony has been set for the next ten days and yet his daughter could flirt around. He was highly disappointed in her. The door to the room slid open and as Helena was about to step inside, she heard the cold voice of her father, “Stop right there!” She had no other choice than to halt in her steps. “Where have you been?” He asked. “I got exhausted from the celebration yesterday and I couldn’t make it home, so I just slept in my hotel room.” “just slept! I never imagined you to be so proficient in lying.” He said. “Dad is there something wrong?” she asked as she approached him. Mr. Wilford slapped her across the face and the tears she was holding streamed down her face. “You’re being a rebel while you’re only going to get married within 10 days.” Mr. Wilford added. “Are you being this disrespectful to yourself?” He was screaming, and She flinched. “Dear, calm yourself,” Maria said. “I don’t understand!” Helena asked her father as she stared blankly at Maria. Then he handed Bella’s phone her and it was..her. She was sleeping with a guy, and he’s on top of her. It was the guy from last night. Helena became suspicious and when she looked at her step sister’s face, she finally understood she was set up. The person she slept with must have been hired by Bella. Bella had always wanted to marry the Son of Mr. Waals. Ever since Helena’s father married Maria- her step mother, she hadn’t know a peaceful live as both mother and daughter duo torments her. “Dad, this video is a proof to what I have always been saying.” Bella said. “That’s not true Dad, I am been framed here, I was drugged.” Helena tried explaining herself but then Mr. Wilford grabbed her and pushed her, causing her to stumble and fall. “Dad, I am the victim here.” She said, crying, and all of their maids and guards were looking at her- the prestigious Helena Wilford. “There’s already proof and you’re still going to deny it!” He said. “For once, please listen to me, Dad!” She shouted, and it was the first time, but he didn’t have ears at the moment to hear her out. “You disgrace this family Helena. From now on, you’ll be no longer my daughter.” Helena was still crying hard for the mistakes she made although it was international, but it was her in the picture. “Please, Dad,” She said. “Guards take her away,” he said as he shut the main door behind her She cried and cried as the guards carried her out of the gates. Suddenly the rain started pouring as if it knew what she felt. She had nowhere to go or friends to approach. She kept on walking and walking, and she no longer knew where she was, but it was a place like where bars are. Everything went black, and the last thing she knew, She woke up again in an unfamiliar place, and She started to get worried. “Oh hi, you’re already awake,” he said, and She pulled the blanket towards her chest out of fear. “I’m not here to do anything else. I’m just here to help. You’re at my house.” The man said. “You passed out in front of the bar. Are you feeling alright now?” “Here, drink this soup,” he says. She took it with a trembling hand, and as she was drinking it, She started crying because this was the first comfort she had received since her mom died. “I’m Harold and you are?” He asked. “Helena!” she said. Four years later, “Helena, VIP room 4 please,” Rhea shouted at the cashier. She doesn’t know, but Helena was a nice name, and it brings nice fortune as well. After that incident, she didn’t know that she was pregnant. She just found out when She went to the ob-gyn to check up on why she hadn’t received her monthly period for two months in a row and that confirms it. She was pregnant, but she don’t know how that happened. She was thinking if something happened to Harold and her, but nothing happened, and they slept in separate rooms. She had her employer, Harold, who gave her a place to stay, even a place to sleep. He was with her even before she gave birth to Damian. He accepted the thought of being his uncle, and she was grateful to him. She just didn’t want to sleep in his house without doing anything. She suggested coming in as a waitress at night to his bar to repay him for what he had done for her and her son. As for her stepsister, She had gotten the wedding she wanted but it didn’t go well with her at some point. Helena though her dad was opposed to it. But she was out there, so She will focus on herself and Damian who was just four. She haven’t even looked up who his father is. That will be such a waste of time, but not a day goes by that it doesn’t cross her mind who that is. When she thought about it, She just can’t seem to forget about that night. How could she get hooked up before marriage. She knocked at the door and eventually got there for another day of being attacked by a rude customer. She didn’t tell Harold , because it looked like everyone here liked it, but she doesn’t like it, because she doesn’t think it’s that favourable to anyone. “Here’s your order,” she said as she place their bucket and even the chips and glasses on the table, she did not look at them as she placed their order. And that one guy caught her attention because even though he wasn’t socializing, he was having serious eye contact with his liquor, and that’s what caught her turning her gaze to him. When their eyes met, her heart skipped a beat, and she hurried to get out of the room and sigh. What a night.
