With their absurd amount of catch, Chris had instructed the ship’s crew to dock at the nearby island. It was an inhabited island he had acquired two years ago. Initially, he thought of building a hotel in the place. But upon seeing Chloe’s expression at the sight of the white sand beach, he changed his mind.
“Do you like it here?” he asked, they were grilling seafood with Sabrina and Aunt Sophia while the rest played by the shore.
It was still almost 7 PM but the sky was still bright, and the weather was warmer compared to Letherbridge. Chloe was unsure how far they were from the capital, but she was certain she loved it there.
“It’s beautiful. I wonder why they haven’t developed this place yet. It could be a tourist destination,” she replied, flipping the fishes to the other side.
