The Man

296 Words
I could feel my mother's touch, it was cool. I could smell the awful perfume that she always wore, it almost choked me. Then I saw him standing right behind, Mason. What was he doing here? Was he here to hurt me or my mother. There were so many questions that i wanted to ask him, at the time. but I couldn't because when my mother turned around he was gone. Like he never was there to begin with. “ I'm going to go get something to eat for your brother, I will be right back.” As i felt her hug me again, Then there was silence. “ I thought she would never leave, cause she was annoying.”As I turned my head to where the voice was coming, there he was standing in the corner of the room with his arms crossed. He was dressed all in black, the room was dark. As he walked over to the bed  his hand caressed my face. I didn't know what to do it was so fast I couldn't react to it. His hand was warm to the touch. It felt fantastic on my face. “ I have looked for you, for a thousand years my love.” He started to lean down to kiss me when my mother walked in, “ who are you? and what are you doing to my daughter?” Before she could get to him, he was gone. She looked around the room and even under the bed. Then she went to the door and looked outside. When she came back, she walked over to me. “ Who was that man?” She didn’t miss a beat. I shook my head no that I don’t know him.
