Eleanor continued to live in pretense for the next few days, doing her best to regain her strength and take care of her baby. While she lies on the bed though, she kept on planning her way to escape from Charles. She has also devised a method to avoid him. She has developed a pattern that when Charles wakes up in the morning, she deliberately sleeps longer just to avoid talking to him. She has felt him kiss her forehead before leaving for work though.
