In the hospital
Sam looked at his watch. Charles and Eleanor are arriving in a few minutes. He has been waiting for almost two hours already. Good thing La Carlotta is around; otherwise he would have been bored. They hit it on the wedding day. They got along well and he was able to invite her to his workplace today. She was actually interested to see Charles and Eleanor also so she decided to come when Sam told her about the tests they will run on Eleanor.
“Excited or bored?” La Carlotta asked Sam.
“Neither,” Sam smiled at her. Honestly, he was more concerned on what the results will bring to Charles and Eleanor’s relationship. Although he wished for Charles’ happiness, he also cannot compromise his oath as a doctor. He has to make sure of Eleanor’s safety.
