He turned his gaze to the guard whose face turned pale as he realized his mistake.
When the guard looked at Manager Kwan’s outfit he realized that he cannot afford to offend this person based on his looks.
He immediately bowed his body 90 degrees in front of Manager Kwan and started apologizing “Sir, I’m sorry. This was all a misunderstanding. I was so blind to see that this man is your companion.”
Manager Kwan was in such a hurry and had no time to blow up this small matter.
He ignored the guard and then proceeded with his original plan. The guard immediately heaved a sigh of relief and remained his body bowed 90 degrees until Manager Kwan turned his back and returned to the sales lady whom he previously left, along with Loyd Laurent.

Catherine Chui beauty was very famous in Athenin City, thus, attracted a lot of attention from all bachelors all over the city and even in entire Barcelon province, the news made a huge wave.
She felt very nervous at this moment. Her eyes were bloodshot because anytime soon her grandfather will announce the most promising young man who will be married to her.

He knew that the moment her daughter Catherine Chui joined their family business – she became an additional threat in inheriting the Chui family’s assets.
She was excellent in her academics, so right after she graduated in University her presence in the sales department of their family business earned a tremendous income, thus leaving good impressions to her grandfather and made her cousins and uncles left behind.

Rene Chui was already removed from the shareholders of their family business.
He has been diagnosed with diabetes for more than five years and the wounds in his feet make him feel like a handicapped and this makes him feel weak and useless.
This makes his family put on a lowest spot in the family’s position.
Every time the Chui family held gatherings, they suffered too much humiliation from their relatives and her daughter Catherine were always bullied and looked down upon by her cousins.
Since Rene Chui's condition had already worsened, his doctor advised him that his legs needed to be cut as soon as possible before the other parts of his body got infected.
Due to lack financially, the schedule of operation was always delayed.
Even Catherine’s monthly salaries working from her family business were only enough for their living expenses and just enough to provide for his father’s medication maintenance.
Back when Rene Chui was still healthy, he was the fourth young master and the favorite son of Chris Chui. He was obedient and the most outstanding son of the Chui family.
His three elder brothers were very jealous of him, putting them in a difficult spot.
When his health started deteriorating, all his brothers became gleeful and all his father’s hopes for him were gradually shattered.

Mark Chui, James Chui & Earl Chui joined forces in persuading their father Chris Chui to agree Rene’s daughter to get married early.
They even give their father an assurance to find her an excellent husband so that there will be someone who can help Catherine to provide for her family daily needs and eventually would help them for the medical expenses needed for her father.
With these valid reasons, their father automatically agreed to this arrangement.
After they successfully convince their father, their next step now is to find Catherine a useless husband. This will definitely lose her eligibility to take over the family business once she is married for nothing.
“Have you ever found the Mister right one for Catherine? Did you check his background?” An evil smile appeared on Earl Chui’s face as soon as he asked these questions to his elder brother Mark Chui.
“Of course, my son Leo Chui and I already made a thorough background check”
Leo Chui was the second born grandson of the Chui Family.
“This boy is born a country bumpkin, totally orphan since 12 years old, is homeless and has no education background. We are already generous enough for not letting Catherine marry a handicapped, the same as his useless father” Mark Chui said smugly.

Meanwhile, Manager Kwan and Loyd Laurent were done with their shopping. The tuxedo and shoes he bought for Loyd makes him look like a first tier Young master from the Northern families.
