The next few weeks in Prof. Michaels’ class turned out to be surprisingly uneventful. Hayleigh expected to be called out incessantly, requested to stay after class like Rowen used to do, but since the first day of the term Keiran didn’t so much as look in her direction again. It was a welcome change she accepted with open arms. She had enough schoolwork to worry about than be involved in any more trouble.
