He tensed and then passed his eyes between Rex and Carl , not knowing what to say.
"Carl, my little one, don't do this... your dad actually... regrets it."
Rex was astonished and for some reason his raging current started to gradually decrease.
"my father.."
"Don't say something Carl, I could have changed Regent...but I chose the worse path.. Nicholas was trying his best, if I helped him and didn't really plan what I did... Did you really intend to kill Rex? Or suicide? I don't I know how you feel about Rex so I don't know what you were up to... but quit both, okay?"
Carl felt an amount of tenderness emanating from his father.
"I.." It was Rex and Thomas turned to him.
He came close to him and looked directly into his eyes.
"Do you know why I called you Rex?"
