Winnie left a message. “I’ll take a cab home. Don’t worry about me. And I’ll take a cab to the Center in the morning. We’ll just add it to my bill.” But then an image flashed into Winnie’s mind. She was sure Mrs. Bristol would approve. “Actually,” Winnie continued on Irma’s voicemail, “I’ll take Mrs. Bristol’s car home. We can bring it back here tomorrow.” Winnie clicked off the call.
