"What was she thinking, bringing back such a disaster? She really knows how to worry people!"
Emma Hartwell, Aurora's mother, followed her out of the ward, intending to offer some words of comfort.
But as soon as she exited the elevator, she overheard Darius's harsh words about Chris.
Seeing her mother, Aurora was somewhat surprised.
"Mom, what are you doing here?"
Ignoring her daughter, Emma pointed at Darius, her face dark with anger.

Aurora sighed deeply, thoroughly disappointed by Darius's behavior.

Darius, who had been about to leave, turned sharply, his expression darkening upon hearing Christopher mock Aurora's appearance.
He could tolerate insults directed at himself, but Aurora was his red line.
"What did you say about her face?"

The next second, he spun around, his hand gripping Christopher's wrist tightly.
"Apologize to Aurora!"

"I don't care about the White family. If you insult Aurora, you must apologize!" Darius stood firm.

Seeing Aurora didn't wish to pursue the matter, Darius let go and allowed her to pull him away from the hospital.

"Some people just resort to violence over a disagreement and don't even know how to apologize afterward!"
