ISABELLA'S TEMPTATION

1240 Words
When my rehearsal finally came to an end, I heard the sound of slow claps in the background. I got up from the chair, and looked at the back of the room, but the spotlight's bright light made it impossible for me to see who was applauding me. I walked forward, descending the small stairs, to come face to face with none other than Alexander Lockhart. At that moment l could be summed up in 3 words: Scared, nervous, and horny. The man was staring at me with such intensity that I could feel my body on fire. I swallowed hard, fear screaming inside me, he was going to discover my identity, and I would be screwed. Calm down, be Isabella, don't be scared, be Isabella. I repeated that sentence several times in my head. "Today is not show day." l said, descending the rest of the stairs, and walking far away from him. Alexander walked slowly behind me. "I know, but I couldn't wait to see you again." His voice came out raspy and dragged. I closed my eyes, trying to tell my senses to not make me falter in front of that man. I stopped at one of the tables, opening a bottle of water, and taking a big gulp of the cold liquid. Calm down. I repeated to myself when he came closer. Alexander still had the same clothes he had in the office. "It fits you." He said, analyzing every part of my body, which to my surprise didn't make me blush. "I wanted to meet you the other day, but was told that you don't talk to club customers." "I heard that you wanted to meet me, but I don't think you will try again, a lot of people give up on the first try." I saw Alexander smirk. "I didn't mean to, but something inside me told me I had to see you again." he said, closer than I imagined. "I'm not a man who gives up easily on what he wants." I looked into his eyes, they were dark and had a different light than usual. I can see the desire in them. "I can see it, you seem like a determined man. What makes you come back?" I was planning on teasing him. "You, just you." "I guess you don't want me anymore, after seeing me like that." “I still want the same, Isabella, or even more.” His eyes roamed around my cleavage. "You can do things you can't even imagine." I smiled mischievously, biting my lower lip. "What things?" I whispered to him. "I can show you if you want..." Alexander moved closer, so close I could feel his breath on my face. I kept looking his eyes through the mask that covered my face. "You're really honest, Alexander. I like that. But I'm not in touch with the club's customers." I said, walking away from him. "I can change your mind, Isabella." He said making me stop. His voice was firm and determined. "No one can do that, Lockhart," I said, smiling contemptuously. "You think you'll be the first? You don't even know if I like you or not..." He smiled brightly as he walked towards me, stopping a few centimeters behind me "I'll do it, Isabella." I felt his breath on my neck. "And I think you like me, but if I'm wrong, I'll make you like me." I turned around and we faced each other face to face. Our eyes were immersed in an intense battle. How can he be so arrogant and sexy? He radiated so much power that it made me shiver. His jacket was open, giving me a clear view of his partially unbuttoned shirt, revealing his steel chest. I traveled with my eyes, from his collarbone to his pink lips. . "How can you be so sure?" “Your body speaks to me.” He said, too close. Our bodies were so close that they gently touched each other. I sighed at such close contact, then stepped back. "Come see me at the next show, I'll be waiting for you Lockhart." I said walking out of the place without turning back. I bet he was smiling when he looked at me but I didn't turn to look at him. I will play hard, I will force this man to kneel at my feet. I walked towards my dressing room, closed the door behind me, and finally exhaled the air congested in my lungs from being so close to this man. I find myself smiling thinking about this little game. Where is my head? Going further would only make things more dangerous, he could find out at any time that I was Sydney. I took off the small mask from my face, looked at my reflection in the mirror, and saw two women in a big conflict. "What's with that stupid smile?" Zaira asked as she entered the dressing room. I shook my head and looked at her. "What are you laughing at?" I pretend like you don't know what she's talking about but it's obvious that she doesn't believe me. Zaira is my dance partner, I always practice with her because there's no one dancing there as good as she did. "Don't lie to me, is all this because of that man passing here and there?" “How did you know there was a woman here, Zai?” I asked as I approached her. "Because I'm the one who told him you were here, duh! The poor man was here yesterday and you weren't here." She said, sitting down on the couch, and crossing her legs. "Are you telling me that he came here yesterday to look for me?" Zaira nodded. head, smile. "He came here, I sat at the bar and ordered a drink. Then a few minutes later, he asked me if you were going out. I said no and saw that he was a bit disappointed so I told him that every Tuesday you will practice here. ." I don't know whether I want to scream at her or I want to thank her. Even though I was afraid Alexander would find out about me, knowing that he came here just to see me was at least wonderful. "| to see that you enjoyed his visit." She said suggestively. "Me? Of course not, Zai, he's just another customer." "Isa, there's no other customer for you laughing like a fool." "That's another thing, Zai, it's too dangerous," I said as he sat down next to her. Zaira looked at me, confused. "Explain!" "This man...Let's just say he's my boss at the company." I saw the woman's eyes widen in surprise. "Is that crazy? Are you dating your boss? Your saintly face no longer deceives me." I couldn't stop laughing at the face she made. "Of course not, Zai, Alexander doesn't know that I'm Sydney, nor is Isabella Sydney. "This double your identity is crazy, my girl," she said and took a sip of water. "Aren't you afraid he'll find out? You know it's dangerous, you could lose your job." Her tone was now more serious. Uncomfortable, I snuggled closer to her. "I'm so scared. But there's something inside me that can't stop, you know? He stirs up things in me that I can't explain."| to be honest . "You're really screwed up, my friend." "I know." I said with a smile.
