THE ROOM WITH NO NAME

The voice echoed again.
"Aria"
It wasn't just a sound - it was familiar. Too familiar.
Her throat tightened. "Lina?" She whispered.
The wall ahead had fully opened now, revealing a long sterile corridor lined with mirrors. The lightening above pulsed red - an emergency hue that seemed to breathe with each second. She stepped inside cautiously, her reflection multiplying infinitely across the mirrored panels.
But none of them moved when she did.
One reflection - just slightly - lagged.
She paused, slowly tilting her head.
So did the others.... except that one.
Her fingers reached out toward the glass - only for the delayed reflection to blink.
And smile.
Aria stumbled back, heart in her throat. The mirrors flashed, and the hallway melted away, giving way to a single, shadowy chamber. This one was different. Warmer. Mechanical hums filled the space, along with the faint sound of breathing - not hers
Someone else was already here.
A chair sat in the center of the room. A figure was slumped in it, tubes running from their arms, monitors beeping silently behind them. Aria itched forward.
"Hello?"
The figure twitched.
As she approached, the screen beside the chair came to life. This time no cryptic warnings - just one word:
Lina.
Aria's breath caught. "No..."
The girl in the chair looked up. Eyes glassy. Face pale. But unmistakable.
"Lina?" Aria reached out trembling.
But Lina mouthed something silently. Her lips moved, again and again, forming the same shape.
"Wake up."
Then, behind Aria - the chamber door slammed shut.
The monitors spiked. Lina's eyes rolled back. And from the speaker above came the voice again. Cold. Robotic. Final.
Subject 11 synchronization in progress. Emotional interference detected. Memory barrier compromised. Initiating lockdown.
The walls began to close.
Lights flickered violently, Aria screamed Lina's name, rushing to undo the cables - but her fingers passed right through her.
And then the screen flashed:

Everything went dark.
