They looked at each other with confusion written all over their faces and that confused me further as I tried to figure out what was going on.”
"Oh, Lady Harmona…please…stop joking with us." The taller woman laughed nervously.
I wasn't joking and I wasn't playing around but somehow, it just seemed like the maids refused to believe that my name was Lilac and not Harmona.
"We shouldn't be talking to you, my Lady." The taller woman spoke again but this time around, there was so much fear in her eyes that it made me feel panicked.
"What? What are you guys talking about?" I asked, looking around to see if there was some kind of danger, but found none.
"The Alpha will kill us if he catches us talking to you."
