"When you say, "work for me" what do you mean exactly?" I asked.
I was trying to get clarity here on this issue at hand. I had no idea what he meant by wanting me to work for him at the moment, and the last thing I wanted was to torment myself by being near him like this for now or any other duration of time.
But Krimson found it all funny. The man I had never seen smile at me was now staring at me with a look of amusement in his eyes, his lips tilted up in a smirk that grated on my nerves. Maybe it was because of the fact that I was in this office…stuck together with him in such close proximity that I was having trouble thinking properly…but I didn’t like it.
