Lilac’s P.O.V
I looked at Krimson now, his head still tilted at that angle as he studied me with that glint in his eyes as if he had just caught a thief red handed.
He probably expected me to cry. To wail and throw a tantrum and deny all rumors and god knows what else he had in his head.
But instead…I burst out laughing.
I clutched my stomach, the force of my laughter making my tummy hurt as I still couldn’t quite believing what she had done.
Who would have thought that the almighty Serena, the untouchable queen could stoop so low as to beg the Alpha for help?
It still surprised me to know that she could do something like this. But then again, she was from a respectable family in the pack, right? So it was only natural that people would believe her no matter what rubbish she uttere
