Krimson’s P.O.V
I stared after Lilac as the door to my office slammed shut after her.
To say that I was shocked would be an understatement. Lilac had just issued a direct challenge to my authority and as much as I tried to ignore the anger rising within me, I couldn’t underestimate it for much longer.
With hurried steps, I followed after her, opening the door with so much force that it slammed against the opposite wall. But before I could catch up to Lilac, Luca stood in my way, blocking her from my view.
In the end, all I saw was her retreating back as she slipped out of the front door, leaving me fuming and flabbergasted.
“Get out of my way, Luca!" I snapped trying to push past him. "I need to teach her a lesson she will never forget!”
